The importance of diet cannot be stressed enough. My experience shows that a varied, plantbased/vegan one where only the absolutely necessary sources of nutrition are processed (cooked/mixed etc.) is the optimal choice. Calorie intake is to be gradually decreased, first carbohydrates, followed by fat as the agility, flexibility, endurance and strength performance of the body increases in tandem.
